Jaipur: The life has come to a standstill in violence-hit Ramganj area which otherwise always bustle with activity. Since the Friday night incident in Ramganj in which a man was killed while several others were injured, the entire area wears a deserted look with the police jawans taking out flag march after every two hours. Heavy police force has been deployed in the area. Following pics demonstrate the prevailing tension:

The police towed the vehicles burnt down by the mob to Ramganj police station.

The Walled City witnessed a curfew after almost nine years. Curfew had been clamped in the Walled City in March, 2018 after the serial bomb blasts.

The police had fired 12 rounds in the air and used tear gas.

A man was killed. The family members of the man, identified as Adil, refused to accept the body. SMS Hospital formed a medical board to conduct the postmortem, but the family members didn’t budge. People are demanding a judicial probe into the incident.
