JAIPUR: The Mumbai Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has reached Jaipur to investigate the case of firing outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s house in Mumbai. The team has interrogated Lawrence’s fellow gangster, Hrithik Boxer, who is currently lodged in Sodala police station.

The ATS suspects that the firing may have been planned in Rajasthan, and a team of four senior officers interrogated Hrithik Boxer on Monday morning to gather more information. The team is also investigating the possibility of the miscreants having ties with gangsters in Rajasthan.

According to DCP South Digant Anand, Hrithik Boxer was arrested on production from Ajmer High Security Jail in a case related to threat. He is currently being kept in Sodala police station for security reasons. The Mumbai ATS team is also investigating the case of firing at Salman Khan’s house and has already interrogated several individuals, including Rohit Rathore and Nitin Fauji.

Hrithik Boxer is accused of providing weapons to miscreants and showing their locations, as well as being involved in a previous case of firing at Zee Club in Jaipur. He is currently lodged in Ajmer Central Jail. The police have reason to believe that he was an active henchman of Lawrence, who used him for tasks such as threatening people and conducting recce of potential targets.

The investigation has also led to inquiries taking place in a juvenile home. It is believed that Lawrence was involved in a murder case by firing on a businessman in Rohtak, and he used minors imprisoned in the juvenile home to commit the crime. When two minors were caught by the police near the Nepal border, they confessed to their involvement during interrogation. Taking this as a lead, the Mumbai ATS team decided to investigate the juvenile home further.
