Wildlife safaris in Jaipur completely booked; No room till Makar Sakranti

Wildlife destination in and around Jaipur has gained such popularity that all of them are completely booked till January 14 when the state will celebrate Makar Sakranti.

Jaipur: Jaipur known for forts and palaces is now becoming popular for its wildlife destinations. Wildlife destination in and around Jaipur has gained such popularity that all of them are completely booked till January 14 when the state will celebrate Makar Sakranti.

Tourist footfall at the wildlife spots in Jaipur including Nahargarh Biological Park, Jhalana Leopard Safari, Jaipur’s Bird Aviary, and Lion Safari is on the rise. They are particularly popular among children.

More than 8000 tourists visited the Nahargarh Biological Park over the past three days and around 6850 tourists came to visit Jaipur’s Bird Aviary.

Lion Safari and Jhalana Leopard Safari which were launched earlier this year are attracting a large number of wildlife lovers. Around 1000 and 360 tourists visited Lion Safari and Jhalana Leopard Safari respectively over the past three days.

Moreover, Jhalana Leopard Safari is completely booked till Makar Sankranti, which is celebrated on January 14.

  • Jaipur Bird aviary: 6850
  • Lion Safari: 993
  • Jhalana leopard safari: 360

More than 40,000 tourists visited various markets and tourist destinations in Jaipur on the occasion of Christmas on Tuesday. The Walled City markets were flooded with local and foreign tourists throughout the day. Many events and parties were also organized in the city.
