RTO Jaipur: Learning license can be applied online now

Jaipur: Regional transport office (RTO) Jaipur has made the entire process of applying for a learning license online.
While vehicle registration process had gone online earlier, the RTO has now made it possible for people to apply for learning licenses online in Jaipur.
Regional transport officer Kalpana Agrawal said that applications for learning licenses can be submitted by motor driving schools online.
Earlier, motor driving schools had to apply for learning licenses offline by submitting the applicant’s documents. People had to visit RTO multiple times when applying for permanent driving license, she said.
But now photo and other documents submitted online at time of applying for a learning license will be used.
People won’t have to do rounds of RTO and waste time.
“It will bring about transparency in the learning license application process,” said the officer.
The new system was implemented on August 1.
