Jaipur girl Apurvi Chandela secures India’s first quota at Tokyo Olympics 2020

Apurvi grabbed this opportunity by securing fourth position in the 10-meter air rifle at the ongoing 52nd International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Championship in Changwon at South Korea. She recently won a bronze medal in the Jakarta Asian Games 2018 too.

Jaipur: Jilted lover stabs girl to death, injures her mother in JDA Colony

A youth barged into a house in JDA Colony Nagtalai on Sunday evening and stabbed a 21-year-old girl, Khushnaseeba Bano, to death and seriously injured her mother. The woman is battling for life at a hospital, according to police.

SOG got a tip off that a foreigner staying hotel Lily Bay Inn near Jawahar Circle was in possession of drugs. An SOG team was rushed to the hotel and took Peter, a resident of Johannesburg in Sought into custody from Roon number – 304. He was searched and found in possession of 10 grams of cocaine.

Judge Neerja Dadhich sentenced Vinod Banjara (23), who raped a 3-year old girl on August 2 near Malsisar village of Jhunjhunu district in Rajasthan to death penalty. Judge Neerja Dadhich wrote the poem and warned of the increasing number of child rape cases in the country.
