RU releases second cut-off list for admission to affiliated colleges

The cut-off percentage for the general category for Maths Honours and Physics Honours in Maharaja College is 97.80%.

JAIPUR: The Rajasthan University (RU) administration on Saturday released the second cut-off list for admission to UG courses in the affiliated colleges and RU departments. The merit lists are being prepared based on the marks obtained in Class 12. The percentile formula is not being followed this time.

The cut-off percentage for the general category for Maths Honours and Physics Honours in Maharaja College is 97.80%. In Maharani College, the cut-off is 97.20% for Maths, while 95.60% for Science in the general category.

The cut-off percentage for the general category for B. Com pass course in Commerce College is 83.60%. Students selected in the second cut-off list can get the document verification done by September 13 in the respective affiliate College. After this, the admission fee will have to be deposited online from September 15 to September 17.

There has been a delay in releasing the cut-off/merit list due to the student union elections. The students who got admission after the release of the first cut-off list were able to cast votes in the elections.

The university administration had announced a reservation in seats for the children of policemen, and also those whose parents died during the Covid-10 pandemic.

The minimum marks required for admission is 45% marks in arts and commerce and at least 48% in science in class 12.
