Rajasthan University (RU) admission begins for 6700 seats in UG, PG courses
Eligible applicants, who have completed their class 12 examinations, can apply online for admission into the university's constituent colleges.

JAIPUR: Rajasthan University has begun the admission process for undergraduate (UG) courses offered at its constituent colleges.
As of today, students can now submit their applications for admission to affiliated colleges such as Maharani College, Maharaja College, Commerce College, and Rajasthan College. The available UG courses include BA, BCom, BSc Pass Course, Honors Course with Certificate Course, Diploma, BCA, BBA, and BPA.
Eligible applicants, who have completed their class 12 examinations, can apply online for admission into the university’s constituent colleges.
The online application process will be open from June 17 until midnight on June 26. To access the official website and submit their applications, students can visit the university’s website at https://uniraj.ac.in/.
Moreover, for those aspiring to pursue postgraduate (PG) courses, the university requires candidates to qualify in the University of Rajasthan Admission Test for Post Graduate Courses (URATPG). Applications for this crucial examination can be submitted via the university’s website from June 19 to June 26.
Prof. Rashmi Jain, the convener of the URATPG Examination for Post Graduate Courses, said that comprehensive information regarding the university’s PG subjects, prescribed fees, examination schedules, admit cards, examination centers, and results will be available at www.uratpguor.org/rajasthan-university. All students aspiring to apply for postgraduate courses are advised to complete their applications by June 26.

Maharani College:
- BA Pass Course: 640 seats
- BA Honors: 660 seats
- B.Com Pass Course: 180 seats
- B.Com Honors: 180 seats
- B.Com SFS: 120 seats
- BBA SFS: 120 seats
- BSc: 240 seats
- BSc Hons: 120 seats
- B.Sc Home Science: 40 seats
- BCA: 120 seats Total: 2420 seats
Rajasthan College:
- BA Pass Course: 480 seats
- BA Honors: 600 seats
- BA SFS: 480 seats Total: 1560 seats
Commerce College:
- B.Com Pass Course: 660 seats
- B.Com Honors: 180 seats
- B.Com SFS: 420 seats
- BCA: 120 seats
- BBA: 120 seats Total: 1560 seats
Maharaja College:
- B.Sc Pass Course: 720 seats
- B.Sc Hons: 330 seats
- BCA: 120 seats Total: 1170 seats
During the application process, candidates will need to provide essential documents, including Jan Aadhar Card, caste certificate, income certificate, 10th-12th mark sheets, transfer certificate, character certificate, migration certificate, address proof, and bank passbook.
Dr. Bhupendra Singh Shekhawat, the University’s Public Relations Officer, disclosed that Rajasthan University is finalizing the implementation of a semester system in its undergraduate programs by the new education policy.
To address this, a special meeting of the Academic Council has been scheduled for June 19, and a Syndicate meeting is proposed for June 28. These meetings will primarily focus on discussing and refining the new education policy.
