RAS 2018: Wrong date printed on admit cards creates confusion among candidates
Many candidates appearing in RAS 2018 exam were confused after downloading admit cards online as a wrong date of the exam printed on them. As soon as the matter came to light, the download link was withdrawn for a while.

Jaipur: Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) uploaded much awaited admit cards of RAS prelims 2018 on Sunday, nearly seven days prior to the exam. But the exam date on some of the admit cards was August 10 rather than August 5, creating confusion among aspirants.
Many candidates from TSP (Tribal Sub Plan) and Non- TSP categories reported confusion, after downloading admit cards online that showed wrong date of the exam printed on cards. As soon as the matter came to light, the downloading of the cards was stopped. RPSC officials said that the candidates are now able to download the admit cards as the mistake has been rectified.
More mistakes has been found in TSP regions cards but are soon rectified. According to RPSC officials, the exam will take place on August 5, from 10 am – 1 pm. Due to the lack of time, some mistakes in admit cards have come to light and they are now being rectified.
Even on the press note released by the department, the date was August 29 instead of July 29. Alarmed over this negligence, aspirants are hoping that there won’t be any mistakes in the examination paper.
RPSC officials said that the admit cards have been uploaded on the portal.
RAS prelims 2018 exam is to be held on the decided date on August 5 from 10 am – 1pm on all 1454 centres across the state. More than 5 lakh admit cards have been uploaded. Aspirants need to carry one photograph and Identity card with their admission cards.
