Jaipur: While the matter of whether the revised results for RAS pre 2018 exam result will be announced or not is still not clear, the RSPC is gearing up to conduct the RAS Mains exam. The dates for the Mains exam have already been decided. The exam will be conducted on Jne 25 and June 26.

RPSC will appeal before the double bench of the Rajasthan high court against the single bench’s order over the RAS prelims exam result 2018. The single bench had recently directed RPSC to remove the question number 11 and 22 from the RAS prelims exam 2018 which was conducted on August 5 last year. The court has asked RPSC to release the revised merit list (RAS exam results) after removing the marks for these questions.

RPSC had sought legal opinion on the matter and decided to appeal before the double bench. The officials said that the RPSC’s legal team will present the arguments before the double as to why the revised results should not be issued.

The officials believe that if the double bench upheld the single bench’s order, the exams would be postponed. The officials are hopeful that the court will hear the RPSC’s argument on the matter and they may not have to release the revised result.

Sources said that the RPSC will start the process of identifying the centers for the Mains exam this month.

The RAS prelims 2018 exam was conducted on August 5 at 1454 centers in Rajasthan. More than 3 Lakh candidates had appeared in the exam for 1017 Vacancies.
