Rajasthan University admission: Last date extended for 7 days; first cut-off list on Aug 4

Jaipur: Rajasthan University has extended the last date for admission for 7 more days to accommodate applications from CBSE students whose Class 12 results were announced recently.
The last date for admission to RU and Commerce College, Maharani College, Maharaja College and Rajasthan College is now July 30 for undergraduate courses, while it is July 27 for post-graduate courses.
Earlier the last date for applying for admission in undergraduate courses was July 23. The university is planning to release the first cut-off list on August 4. The document verification process will start on August 5 and end on August 8.
Other formalities including fee deposits will take place between August 11 and August 14. The second cut-off list will be released on August 18.
RU officials said that the university has extended the last date for application 3-4 times already as there has been delay in the CBSE results. The students can now apply for admission in BA, BCom, BSc pass course/hons course as well as certificate course/diploma, BCA, BBA, BPA in Maharani College, Maharaja College, Commerce College and Rajasthan College.
“The university is planning to get the admission process finished as soon as possible so that the academic year can start and classes can resume,” said an officer.
