Maharaja Ganga Singh (MGS) University Bikaner election 2018 result: ABVP rebel Seema Rajpurohit elected president

This isfor the first time that a female candidate has grabbed the President post at MGS University in Bikaner. Supporters of Seema Rajpurohit are celebrating her victory.

Jaipur: The results for student union elections 2018 of Maharaja Ganga Singh (MGSU) University Bikaner have been announced. Independent candidate Seema Rajpurohit was elected president.

ABVP Candidate Karnidaan Purohit was elected as Joint Secretary whereas Neha Raj purohit of ABVP won the post of General Secretary.

This is for the first time that a female candidate has grabbed the President post at MGS University Bikaner. Supporters of Seema Rajpurohit are celebrating her victory.

Heavy police force was deployed during the counting process. After the results, supporters of elected panel started celebrating on the campus. The police didn’t allow a victory rally.

Also, Candidates of ABVP panel won in the government Law College of MGS University, whereas in the Rampuria Law College, all the posts were bagged by independent candidates.

The counting of votes stated at 11 am today. There will be an oath ceremony for the elected panel.

The candidates who contested election in MGS University are:

  • President: Sarjeet Singh (ABVP), Praveen Kumar, Seema Rajpurohit.
  • Vice President: Rakesh Sharma, Nahida Qureshi (ABVP), Shilpa Kulhari, Devender Singh
  • Secretary-General: Vishnu Siyag, Neha Rajpurohit (ABVP), Mohit Solanki
  • Joint Secretary: Indra Singh Sankhala, Kariman Purohit (ABVP).
