Jodhpur-Udaipur-Jaipur-Delhi travel with Vande Bharat train: Must-know details 

The train will reach Delhi from Jaipur in less than 2 hours.

JAIPUR: Starting March 2023, the Vande Bharat train will run between Jaipur and Delhi. It will also connect Jodhpur and Udaipur with his route.

The train will reach Delhi from Jaipur in less than 2 hours. Recently, the railway ministry announced the development of 50 railway stations in India with world-class facilities. This includes the Sanganer station in Jaipur, which has also been approved by the railway minister for renovation and colouring.

The journey from Jaipur to Delhi by the Vande Bharat train will take 1.45 hours instead of the regular train which takes about 5 hours. Apart from Delhi, the train will connect with three major cities of Rajasthan – Jodhpur, Kota and Udaipur. 

The journey from Jaipur to Udaipur will take 2.25 hours instead of 7.30 hours and the journey from Jaipur to Kota will take only 1.20 hours instead of 3.35 hours. 

The fare for this train ranges from 1196 to 3000 rupees. 

Vande Bharat Express, also known as Train 18, is a semi-high-speed intercity electric multiple-unit train developed and manufactured by Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai. 

It is India’s first fully indigenous train, which is built to replace the Shatabdi Express trains. The train has been designed to operate at speeds of up to 160 km/h and has been fitted with state-of-the-art amenities and features.

The train has 16 coaches in total, with two executive class coaches and 14 chair car coaches. The executive class coaches have 52 seats each and are equipped with features such as LED lighting, onboard infotainment, and personalised reading lights. The chair car coaches have 78 seats each and are equipped with features such as Wi-Fi, a GPS-based passenger information system, and rotating chairs that can be turned 180 degrees.

The train has been designed with safety features such as CCTV cameras, an emergency braking system, and a fire and smoke detection and suppression system. It also has an onboard infotainment system that provides real-time information to passengers about the train’s location, speed, and the estimated time of arrival.

The train’s power car is equipped with a battery backup system that can provide power for up to 3 hours in case of a power failure. The train is also equipped with a bio-vacuum toilet system that reduces water consumption and improves hygiene.

Vande Bharat Express runs between New Delhi and Varanasi and is being extended to other destinations in the future.
