Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS) 2018 to be held at JECC from Dec 21 to Dec 24

A wide range of jewellery designs with a touch of royalty and richness will be displayed by more than 825 booths during JJS 2018. More than 25000 online registrations have been received for the show till now.

Jaipur: Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) at Sitapura will host the biggest jewellery festival of the city ‘Jaipur Jewellery Show 2018’ (JJS) from December 21 to December 24. The theme of the festival this year is ‘Reflection of Royalty and Creativity’.

A wide range of jewellery designs with a touch of royalty and richness will be displayed by more than 825 booths during JJS 2018. More than 25000 online registrations have been received for the show till now.

The JJS IJ Jewellers Choice Design Awards 2018 will be organized on the first day of the festival. Also, another version of Jaipur Jewellery Design Festival will commence on December 21 at JECC.

JJS show director Vimal Chand Surana said in a press conference that the association of jewellers will get international exposure to their art, style and unique designs of jewelry as jewellers and businessmen from around the globe will be attend the event.

According to jeweller Ajay Kala, the 8th edition of JJS IJ Jewellers Choice Design Awards will be conducted on December 21 at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Jaipur. The winners will be awarded for their extraordinary talents and creativity.

Several dignitaries of the Indian gems industry from different parts and many famous film personalities around the globe will be part of the event.

Jaipur Jewellery Show secretary Rajeev Jain said that the JJS started with 67 stalls at first. Now, there will be more than 825 booths at the festival which will showcase different designs of jewellery.

A special ‘Zahira Collection’ is being made this time in JJS which will be based on the Morocco architecture. Zahira means inner beauty.

Around 70% of booths will be designed on Jaipur theme. The booths will be designed on the theme of Hawa Mahal using the pink colour for showcasing the specialty of Jaipur and giving it a Pink City touch.

On another side, 18-carat fine jewellery will be displayed along with Kundan-Mina. The lightweight jewellery along with various combinations of coloured stone specialized jewellery will be displayed at the festival.
