Cabinet meeting: Rajasthan government gives relief to employees having more than 2 children

Jaipur: After a cabinet meeting on Thursday, the Rajasthan government announced to give relief to state government employees who have more than two children.

Briefing media persons after the meeting, PWD minister Yunus Khan said the cabinet gave its approval to amend Rajasthan Civil Service Rules to give relief to the state government employees having more than two children.

As per the proposed amendment, the employees having more than two children after June 1, 2002 would be considered for promotion or assured career progression after 3 years of appointment instead of earlier condition of 5 years.

He added that the amendment in Rajasthan Civil Service Pension Rules-1966 was also proposed to give a choice of Basic Pay plus Dearness Allowance or Family Pension plus Dearness Relief to the employees appointed on the compensatory grounds. Also, Grade Pay for the post of Pujari in Devasthan Department was proposed to be revised from 1,700 rupees to 1,750 rupees, he stated.
