Another FIR registered against senior IRS Sahiram Meena, family members
According to the ACB officials, the case was registered on Monday against IRS officer Meena, his wife Premlata, son Manish, daughter in law Vijay Laxmi and members of Baba RN Gaur committee under various sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act and for cheating and forgery.

Jaipur: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) lodged another case against senior narcotics control bureau officer Sahiram Meena and his family members for disproportionate wealth of over Rs 13 crore on Monday. The accused IRS officer Sahiram Meena was arrested for taking a bribe of Rs 1 lakh on January 26. Initially there were reports that the properties amassed by Sahiram Meena are worth about Rs 300 crore; however, the ACB officials said that the value of wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income was only Rs 13 crore.

According to the ACB officials, the case was registered on Monday against IRS officer Meena, his wife Premlata, son Manish, daughter in law Vijay Laxmi and members of Baba RN Gaur committee under various sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act and for cheating and forgery.
ACB in the investigations found approx. Rs 13.5 crore as a disproportionate income and 106 leases belonged to Baba RN Gaur Home Construction Co-operative Society connected to Meena.
Meena along with his companion broker Kamlesh Dhakad will be presented before the court on Tuesday. They were in the police custody at Kota central jail for past days, added officials.
Investigations revealed that Meena lied in the immovable property return (IPR) that he submitted to the government. It was found that he, along with his family members, owns around 106 plots, 25 shops, petrol pumps, flats, marriage gardens, farmlands and other property worth Rs 300 crore.
Jewelry worth approximately Rs 24 lakh was recovered from a bank locker in Jaipur owned by his family members and jewelry worth Rs 29 lakh from another locker of Sahiram’s wife Hemlata in the past month.
Rajasthan anti-corruption bureau (ACB) unearthed movable and immovable assets worth crores of rupees from the house and other places belonging to Sahiram Meena. He was allegedly caught taking a bribe of Rs 1 lakh on January 26.
