27 new flights connecting Rajasthan with other cities to be launched by April
Three new direct flights connecting Jaipur to Adampur, Belagavi and Amritsar will be functional in the coming days.

Jaipur: In good news to the commuters of Jaipur International Airport, three new direct flight routes connecting Jaipur to Adampur, Belagavi and Amritsar will be functional in the coming days. A total of 27 new flights will be introduced.
The number of domestic flights from Jaipur will reach 69 after the launch. Currently, there are 66 domestic flights and seven international flights which are being operated from Jaipur.
Under the UDAN Yojana (scheme) of the Central government, the efforts are being made to improve the air connectivity of Rajasthan to other cities and states. Seven airports of the state will get 27 new flights in April under the third phase of the regional connectivity scheme.
The announcement was made by Union Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu in Delhi on January 25.
According to the officials, the work orders are being issued for the respective airlines following which the new flights will be launch by April this year.
New flights from the following cities under the UDAN-3 scheme:
Jaipur
Three new direct flights to Adampur (Punjab), Belagavi (Karnataka) and Amritsar will be introduced.
Kishangarh
Nine new direct flights to Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Lucknow, Surat, and Udaipur will be functional by ZoomAir, SpiceJet and Ghodawat Airlines. The commuters for Ajmer Dargah and Pushkar will be much benefited by this.
Kota
Re-introduction of a direct flight to Delhi. Earlier, the flight route of Kota-Delhi was closed due to airport authority restrictions.
Bikaner
First ever direct flight to Jaisalmer will be introduced. There were not even the connecting flights on this route before.
Jaisalmer
Direct flights to Agra, Bikaner, and Kishangarh will be operated in near future under the regional scheme.
Udaipur
Seven new flights to five airports including Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Aurangabad, Jodhpur, and Kishangarh will be operated.
Jodhpur
First ever direct flight from Jodhpur to Belagavi (Karnataka) and Kishangarh will be introduced. Also, the direct flight to Udaipur will be operated again.
