Seven new flights from Udaipur to 5 cities to be introduced in April

Jaipur: Seven new flights connecting Udaipur with other cities will operate from April this year.

Four direct flights connecting Udaipur to Ahmedabad and Bhopal (two each) will get functional from April. Also, three direct flights connecting Udaipur to Aurangabad, Jodhpur, and Kishangarh (one each) will start operating soon.

According to the airport authorities, the launch of these seven new flights will boost connectivity and tourism in Udaipur. Eighteen flights are operating from Udaipur airport. After the introduction of these new flights, the number will reach 25.

All the flights will be under Regional Contact Scheme (RCS) for which the session will commence from March-April.

• Udaipur-Ahmedabad-Udaipur

Two new flights connecting Udaipur and Ahmedabad will be introduced first time ever by SpiceJet and Jet Airways Airlines.

• Udaipur-Bhopal-Udaipur

This will be the first air connectivity from Udaipur to Madhya Pradesh by SpiceJet and Jet Airways airlines. Two new direct flight will be introduced on this route.

• Udaipur-Kishangarh-Udaipur

A direct flight connecting Udaipur and Kishangarh will be introduced by Zoom Air airlines. The connectivity between these cities was discontinued a long time ago due to some complications. The connectivity on this route again will benefit a lot of commuters, especially who wish to travel to Pushkar.

• Udaipur-Jodhpur-Udaipur

The direct flight connectivity between these cities will increase the tourist footfall in both the regions greatly. The earlier connectivity was discontinued on this route due to the permanent termination of Supreme Airlines.

• Udaipur-Aurangabad-Udaipur

The Jet Airways airline is all set to introduce first-ever direct flight between Udaipur and Aurangabad in April. The pilgrims who wish to visit Shirdi from Udaipur will be benefitted including a lot of other commuters.
