RPSC and SCC exam dates conflict; candidates left in lurch

Jaipur: Some dates for exams being conducted by Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) and Staff Selection Commission (SSC) are clashing and it has left thousands of students from Rajasthan in a lurch. These candidates are opposing the clash of exam dates as they want to appear in both the exams but now they will end up choosing between these two.
RPSC’s Senior lecturer recruitment exam and SSC’s Selection Posts Phase-VI 2018 Recruitment exam is scheduled to take place between October 28 and November 2 and between October 28 and November 3 respectively.
According to the President of Rajasthan Berojgaar Sangh Dependra Sharma, while announcing the dates for senior lecturer exam, the RPSC did not take into notice the fact that SSC had already released the dates for its selection exam. Several candidates will face difficulties due to this.
One of the candidates Vishwajeet Singh said that he wanted to appear in both the exams to increase the chances of recruitment in at least one of them. He had prepared for both. Now, he has to choose between these two as both the exams are being held on the same days.
A large number of candidates will commute to different centers in Rajasthan for these two exams.
