Rajasthan Haj Committee chairman Ameen Pathan demands police security over death threats

Pathan has received death threat calls allegedly from Pakistani terrorist. He has been receiving threat calls for the past few days over his social media posts on Kashmiri movement.

Jaipur: The Rajasthan State Haj Committee’s chairman Ameen Pathan has received death threat calls allegedly from Pakistani terrorist. He has been receiving threat calls for the past few days over his social media posts on Kashmiri movement.

Pathan lodged a complaint with the Jaipur police on Wednesday and demanded security. He asked the police commissioner to take the matter seriously and launch an investigation.

According to Ameen Pathan, he usually uploads his opinion on YouTube and other social platforms over Kashmir issues. He gives the message to the youth of Kashmir not to get diverted from their paths.

Pathan received a threat call on December 1 from Pakistan. The caller threatened if Pathan would utter anything over the Kashmir issue in the future, in any of his post or videos, he will face dire consequence. He would be killed.

After the threat call, Pathan informed Jaipur police regarding the matter. He further stated that this is not the first time that he has received threat calls. Earlier, he received a similar threat call on April 10 over a YouTube video that he uploaded.

The caller abused Pathan and asked him to remove the video and threatened of dire consequences. His mobile phone that received the call went missing on May 1 from Nizamuddin Dargah in Delhi,” Pathan mentioned in the complaint.
