Jaipur: ABVP candidate Himanshu Bagdi was elected president of Mohanlal Sukhadia (MLS) University student union 2018. Himanshu secured 3556 votes. He defeated independent candidate Sukhdev Dangi who secured 2773 votes. Arvind Singh Chundawat is leading in the fight for vice president post.

The results of Law College will not be declared on Tuesday due to a case pending with the Rajasthan High Court, said Registrar Himmat Singh Bhatti. Apart from law College of Udaipur University, results for all the colleges will be announced today.
Hundreds of police officials are keeping a tab on all the counting stations on the campuses to ensure law and order. Student unions or students will be allowed to take out the victory rally after the results.
The university administration has appointed several members of the faculties for the counting process. Candidates have reached the counting centers and the ballot boxes have been opened in their presence.
Last year, Bhawani Shankar of ABVP won by a margin of 167 votes. He got 3278 votes, while Ronak of NSUI got 3111 votes.
The students of MLS university are eagerly waiting for the results to come. The direct battle is between NSUI and ABVP candidates.
