Man arrested for creating bomb scare at Ajmeri Gate
The man identified as Manmohan was taken into custody on Friday morning. According to preliminary reports, Man Mohan works at Genpact located at RIICO industrial area of Mansarovar in Jaipur; however, the police were yet to confirm this.

Jaipur: Jaipur police arrested an employee of a private firm from Mahesh Nagar for allegedly creating a bomb scare at Ajmeri Gate of Jaipur on Thursday night.
The man identified as Manmohan was taken into custody on Friday morning. According to preliminary reports, Man Mohan works at Genpact located at RIICO industrial area of Mansarovar in Jaipur; however, the police were yet to confirm this.
According to the police, a man called up the police control room and said that bombs has been planted at Ajmeri Gate and they would go off soon. The security teams were put on an alert. Senior officials rushed to the spot.
The call was made late evening on Thursday following which police teams, bomb disposal and dog squad and security agency officials rushed to Ajmeri gate and started a massive search for any suspicious objects.
The city police and security agencies remained on their toes till late night. The police put the number under surveillance and traced the location of the call. The call was later declared a hoax. The police found the mobile phone switched off.
The police arrested the accused Manmohan on Friday by tracing his location. The police are trying to find out whether he made the call or someone used his phone to call up the police control room.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
