Madan Lal Saini to head BJP election committee in Rajasthan

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has constituted its state-level election management committee for the upcoming assembly elections 2018. The names of the committee members were announced by BJP national President Amit Shah on Thursday.

Jaipur: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has constituted its state-level election management committee for the upcoming assembly elections 2018. The names of members of the committee were announced by BJP national President Amit Shah on Thursday. Leaders from all major castes have been included in the committee.

State BJP president Madan Lal Saini has been appointed the chairman of the committee. Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has been appointed as convener and coordinator, union Minister Arjunram Meghwal and state Spokesperson Satish Poonia have been appointed as co-coordinators of this newly constituted BJP committee Rajasthan.

By constituting this state-level committee BJP has targeted most of the communities including Rajputs, Jats and Meghwals to woo them ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Home Minister Gulabchand Kataria, Former State President Ashok Parnami, Minister Arun Chaturvedi, Rajendra Rathore, Yunus Khan, Omkar Singh, Union Minister CR Chaudhary, Rajya Sabha MP Kirori Lal Meena, Narayan Pancharia and Lok Sabha MP Om Birla are the other members of the committee.

On the other hand hand, National Vice President Om Mathur and National General Secretary Bhupendra Yadav have not been included in the committee. They might be added in the election committee for candidate selection.
