Major fire breaks out at a marriage garden in Sirsi Road area in Jaipur.
Jaipur: A major fire broke out at Mysore Mahal marriage garden in Sirsi Road area in Jaipur on Tuesday. The fire spread to most parts of the marriage garden within minutes. According to preliminary reports, properties worth lakhs of rupees were gutted in the fire. There was, however, no report of any causalities.
The fire department said that the cause of fire was being ascertained.
“It broke out in the afternoon. Some people were working inside the marriage garden. They informed the police control room following which fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The fire couldn’t spread to nearby structures; however, properties inside the garden were gutted,” said a fire department officer.
A police team also rushed to the spot.

The cause of fire at Mysore Mahal marriage garden is being determined.
In January, fire broke out at in Rose Garden, a marriage lawn, adjacent to Entertainment Paradise (EP) in Jawhar Circle area. A temporary structure made of wood and thermocol caught fire when a welding work was in progress nearby. There was garbage of cartons lying around.
The fire had caused the JMC authorities to conduct inspection of firefighting arrangements at marriage gardens in the city.
