Jaipur: A major fire broke out in Rose Garden, a marriage lawn, adjacent to Entertainment Paradise (EP) in Jaipur’s Jawhar Circle area on Thursday. Almost a dozen fire tenders were pressed into service as the fire threatened to spread to nearby homes.

The police and fire fighting teams were trying to determine the cause of fire that has gutted trees and temporary structure in the premises. A huge crowd of people gathered outside the garden. The place is used for organizing wedding receptions.

According to preliminary reports, a temporary structure made of wood and thermocol caught fire when a welding work was in progress nearby. There was garbage of cartons lying around.

Panic gripped the area as there were reports of LPG cylinders exploding following the fire.

There were no reports of any casualty.
