Jaipur airport winter schedule released; 4 international flights to be launched

JAIPUR: Jaipur international airport authorities have released the new winter schedule. With the likely increase in tourist footfall, three airline companies are to launch new flights for four countries. Jaipur will now have direct air connectivity with Malaysia and Qatar.
Currently, there are flights connecting Jaipur with Dubai, Sharjahan, Muscat and Bangkok. There are daily flights to Dubai, Sharjahan and Muscat, while four days a week flights to Bangkok.
Now three airlines have proposed to start four more new flights, which will start in the winter season. Although the companies have not yet announced the exact schedule of the flight, it is likely that these flights will start operating after Diwali.
Presently people from many parts of Rajasthan including Shekhawati go to Dubai, Sharjahan, Muscat and Doha for employment. To reach Doha, the passenger have to get another flight from Dubai or Sharjahan. Now Jaipur will have direct air connectivity to Doha, so travelling flying to Doha will save money as well as time.
In the winter season, a large number of people go to Bangkok, Pattaya, Kuala Lumpur on vacations. There is currently only one flight from Jaipur to Bangkok that runs four days a week. Also there are no flights to Kuala Lumpur yet. People go to Delhi to catch a flight to Kuala Lumpur. But now Jaipur will be connecte4d with Kuala Lumpur with the launch a new flight. Prior to Covid-19 pandemic, Air Asia operated flights to Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Bangkok, but it was closed during the pandemic.
AirAsia will operate direct flights for Kaula Lumpur four days a week. Indigo will operates daily flights to Doha and Dubai and Thai Smile Airways to Bangkok.
