Jaipur Airport: Summer schedule to have 4 new flights; 6 to be discontinued

The winter schedule is currently operational at Jaipur airport, with more flights due to the tourist season.

JAIPUR: The summer schedule of flight operations at Jaipur International Airport will come into effect in the last week of March. There will be direct flights to Patna, as well as increased air connectivity to cities such as Surat, Pune, and Chandigarh. Flight schedules change annually on the last Sunday of March.

The winter schedule is currently operational at Jaipur airport, with more flights due to the tourist season. Currently, the airport sees an average of 62 daily flights.

The summer schedule will include 61 domestic flights including  55 domestic and 6 international flights. Four new flights will be introduced, while six flights will discontinue. Direct air connectivity to Jaisalmer will be unavailable, and about 10 flights will undergo a change in number or partial schedule change. The indigo airline will operate the maximum number of 29 flights in the summer schedule.

Flights that will be discontinued are Indigo’s Delhi flight 6E-6221, Delhi flight 6E-7404, and Mumbai flight 6E-5226, as well as SpiceJet’s flight SG-279 to Mumbai, flight SG-4018 to Jaisalmer, and flight SG-2973 to Udaipur. 

Four new flights will be introduced: SpiceJet’s flight SG-2964 to Pune and flight SG-3419 to Surat, as well as Indigo’s flight 6E-7404 to Chandigarh and flight 6E-261 to Patna.

SpiceJet flight SG-2344 to Delhi will have a new flight number of SG-2970, while flight SG-2941 to Amritsar will depart at 10:55 am. Indigo’s Ahmedabad flight 6E-132 will have a new number of 6E-648 and depart at 8:50 am, while Pune flight 6E-6116 will be renamed 6E-385 and depart at 10:30 pm. The morning flight to Udaipur, 6E-7218, will have a new number of 6E-7465, while flight 6E-7276 to Chandigarh will depart at 6:40 am and flight 6E-7131 to Jodhpur will be renamed 6E-7405 and depart at 1:05 pm.
