Around 118 guests including Vedanta Group chairman Anil Agarwal with senior officials and VIPs were there with Kushner in a special chartered Boeing aircraft.

Kushner will attend the wedding of Nitin Bhaskar – son of Delhi-based industrialist Sanjay Bhaskar. The wedding ceremonies are scheduled to take place between November 23 and November 25. He will stay at Surya Palace in Jaisalmer, sources said. Before leaving from Jaisalmer on November 25, he may even spend a night on the sand dunes of the desert. Kusher and Nitin were the batch mates in the US.

A 50-member team of US embassy officials and security teams had been in Jaisalmer to review the security arrangements over the last few weeks. The hotel where the wedding is scheduled had been under surveillance and security of the US officials.

There were speculations earlier that the daughter of the US President, Ivanka Trump was likely to visit Jaisalmer along with her husband Kushner to attend the wedding ceremony but she did not come. Jared and Ivanka are also Donald Trump’s senior advisors.
