University students onboard a bus attacked in Shivdaspura

The university’s bus was taking the students from Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET) which is located at Sitapura area. The reason for the attack is not clear yet. Police suspect that it could be out of revenge.

Jaipur: More than a dozen unidentified men on Wednesday attacked bus carrying the students of a private university while it was taking them to their hostel in Jaipur. The incident happened near Shivdaspura police station area. More than ten students were injured in the attack. All the accused managed to flee from the spot after the incident. The attacked students were rushed to a nearby hospital.

The university’s bus was taking the students from Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET) which is located at Sitapura area. The reason for the attack is not clear yet. Police suspect that it could be out of revenge.

According to the police, a dozen miscreants on bikes and other vehicles stopped the university ‘bus in the middle of the road and entered it.

The attackers started beating students and conductor of the bus with iron rods and wooden sticks brutally. After the attack, they fled away from the spot in their vehicles.

The university administration and police rushed to the spot.

Police are searching for the accused and discovering several CCTV footages of the nearby regions.
