Two coaching students – identified as Disha Singh and Deepak Dadhich – committed suicide in two separate incidents in Kota, bringing to the fore once again the stress of studies in the country’s coaching hub.

Jaipur: Two coaching students – identified as Disha Singh and Deepak Dadhich – committed suicide in two separate incidents in Kota, bringing to the fore once again the stress of studies in the country’s coaching hub. The two suicides took place in an interval of just 24 hours.

On Sunday, 18-year-old Disha Singh hanged herself from the ceiling of her hostel room. Disha was a resident of Ramkhola Khushinagar and was living in a hostel in Landmark City. The family members were informed immediately however they were yet to arrive till Sunday night.

According to the police, the girl was not feeling well for the past two day. Disha left a suicide note in which she didn’t make it clear what was causing her to take the extreme step. She wrote in the suicide note that her parents shouldn’t be told that she committed suicide. She requested that her parents should be told she died of illness. Disha was preparing for NEET in Kota.

Similarly, Deepak Dadhech committed suicide by hanging himself at his coaching institute situated in RK Puram. The police didn’t find any suicide note. The family members demanded a murder investigation should be launched into his death.
