SOG gives clean chit to Jaroli, other RBSE officials in REET paper leak case

Jaipur: The Rajasthan special operations group (SOG) has given clean chit to the officials of the Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) RBSE including its former chairman DP Jaroli in the of REET Level – 2 paper case. In the 40-page final report filed in the high court, the agency submitted an interrogation report containing the contents of the questioning with Jaroli. The agency in the FR said that several RBSE officials were quizzed, but none was found involved in the pear leak.
The court accepted the FR and discontinued the monitoring of the case. The final hearing in the case will take place on July 25.
As many as 71 people were arrested by the agency in the case. A chargesheet has been filed against 65 of them.
The exam was conducted on November 26, 2021. Some people received the paper on WhatsApp before the exam was conducted. The case had kicked up political controversy in the state with the opposition parties accusing the government of shielding some influential politicians. Two police constables had received the paper in Sawaimadhopur’s Gangapurcity. They were helping their wives cheat in the exam.
The investigation was handed over to SOG after widespread protests. Jaroli had initially disappeared after the SOG initiated the probe but later made himself available for questioning.
Unknown people pasted posters of DP. The paster announced a reward of Rs 11 to anyone who revealed the whereabouts of Jaroli.
