Jaipur: Jawhar Circle is one of the most beautiful places in the city. It is soon going to be a favorite hangout destination for children because a science park will be developed where ‘dinosaurs’ will road and move around.

A 40-feet long tyrannosaur is currently on display at Shashtri Nagar Science Park. One of the species of dinosaurs to be on display at Jawahar Circle Science Park is brachiosaurus. Dinosaurs from these species were vegetarians and had long necks. The model would be 15-feet long. Dinosaurs from some other species including T Rex will also enthrall children. These dinosaur models will be made to roar and move.

Children will also be made familiar with popular scientific principals such as Newton’s law of motion through models. A model of satellite launcher will also be on display to make children familiar with rocket-launching. Besides the statues of genius scientists including CV Raman, Homi J. Bhabha etc will also be displayed.

Department of science and technology has earmarked a piece of land measuring 10,000 square feet to develop a district science section park. It was proposed to come up in a Nehru Balodhyan, but the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) didn’t give permission for this.

Rajasthan state road development and construction (RSRDC) has given an estimated cost of Rs 40 lakh for the park’s development. Of them, Rs 40 lakh have been provided by the financial department. Officials said that the park would be completed by the end of this financial year.

National council of science museum is examining the models of dinosaurs that will be put up in the park for children.
