Samvidhan Park at Raj Bhawan in Jaipur: All You Need to Know 

JAIPUR: Samvidhan Park which highlights the glory of the Indian constitution will be thrown open to the public from the new year. The park is located on the Raj Bhawan premises, so for the first time, the common men will have access to Raj Bhawan. The park was built under the Smart City project and will be inaugurated on January 3. 

There are reports that President Draupadi Murmu is likely to inaugurate the park, but there was no official confirmation of this. Raj Bhavan has also written to the UDH department for the inauguration. 

After the inauguration, the people will be allowed to enter the Raj Bhawan premises to visit the park built on the theme of the Indian constitution. 

Entry would be free but would be allowed in batches of 50 people. The people would be allowed to visit this park twice a week. The visitors will have to register online before visiting the park. 

The park was built with a budget of Rs 9.5 crore which was about 1.30 crore more than the earlier estimated cost. The work was completed by August 15, 2022. The statues of personalities who contributed to the formation of the constitution, their contribution and structure of the constitution, and their real values are engraved on the inscriptions. 

The information on the constitution has been divided into different sections, and statues and inscriptions were installed near the walkway and made attractive through audio-visual mediums. A 10 x 12 feet gun metal statue of Mahatma Gandhi driving a charkha has been installed. A white marble statue of Maharana Pratap with his favorite horse Chetak has also been installed.
