Jaipur: Grade 2 (second grade) teacher examination is being organized by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) from April 26, but its schedule has left thousands of post graduate students in a difficult situation. Grade-2 teacher examination schedule is clashing with post graduate examinations being held by three universities in the state including Rajasthan University.

Latest Update: 2nd grade teacher exam timetable changed, exams of optional subjects postponed

Some of the exams for Grade – 2 teachers recruitment and post graduate courses are on the same date.

Students are confused which exam they should give priority to. Many students have approached universities, RPSC office in Ajmer and the state secreteriate in Jaipur appealing against the clash of examination dates.

They demanded that the schedule of examination dates should be adjusted by the RPSC and universities so that they could appear in both the exams.

RPSC is unlikely to change the examination schedule for Grade two teacher recruitment, so the onus is now on the universities to change their examination dates.

Rajasthan University is conducting mathematics examination on April 27. RPSC’s exam for Hindi subject is being held on the same date. Similarly, RPSC is conducting examinations of Mathematics and Urdu on April 28 and the same date has been announced by the RU for post graduate examinations for political science and geography. RPSC is conducting social science and science exams on May 1 when the RU’s PG-final exam for  political science is scheduled.

Other universities which are affected by the clash of dates include Shekhwati University and Maharaja Ganga Singh University.
