Rajasthan reports 230 new COVID-19 cases; 29 in Jaipur

Jaipur: Rajasthan reported 230 new cases of Coronavirus on Friday. Of them 29 were reported in Jaipur. Jodhpur reported the same number of cases. The total number of COVID-19 cases in the state has gone up to 12068. Of them, the highest number of cases were reported in Jaipur.

Apart from Jaipur and Jodhpur, several other districts also reported fresh cases on Friday. Forty-seven cases were reported in Sirohi, the highest in Rajasthan on Friday. Thirty-two cases were reported in Alwar. Sikar reported 24 cases. Ajmer, Jhunjhunu and Dholpur reported 10 cases each followed by  Ganganagar (7), Jhalawar, Sawaimadhopur and Kota (3 each), Bikaner, Dungapur, Jaisalmer, Nagaur, Tonk and Udaipur (2 each), and Barmer, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Dausa, Karauli and Rajsamand (1 each).

  • Panipech – 1
  • Gangapole – 1
  • Mahesh Nagar – 3
  • Hathroi – 1
  • VKI – 1
  • Mansarovar – 1
  • Jagatpura – 1
  • Vatika – 1
  • Gobas – 1
  • Jawahar Nagar – 1
  • Vaishali Nagar – 1
  • Durgapura – 1
  • Sanganer – 1
  • Panchyawala – 1
  • Gandhi Nagar – 1
  • Ghat Gate – 2

Over 5.71 lakh people have been tested for the virus in the state. Of them, 12068 were found infected. As many as 272 people have died in the state. Of them 123 are in Jaipur alone. There are 2785 active cases in Rajasthan now.
