Rajasthan government transfers 9 IPS officials

ADG VK Singh was made ADG ATS-SOG. Earlier, VK Singh led the SIT formed for paper leak investigation.

JAIPUR: Late on Friday night, the state government transferred 9 IPS officers. One of the notable transfers was ADG VK Singh being made ADG ATS-SOG. Earlier, VK Singh led the SIT formed for paper leak investigation.

In another significant transfer, Sanjay Aggarwal, who served as Jaipur Police Commissioner during Vasundhara Raje’s tenure, has been appointed as ADG Intelligence. He had been serving as ADG Police Headquarters.

ADG Anand Kumar Srivastava has been assigned to ADG Armed Battalion. He previously served as Jaipur Police Commissioner under Gehlot’s government and always received field postings even in the previous BJP regime (as Udaipur Range IG and Kota Range IG). He was currently holding the post of ADG Law and Order.

Other appointments include Vishal Bansal as ADG Law and Order, Sanjeev Kumar as ADG Personnel Department, and S Sengathir as ADG Police Headquarters.

Several police officers were promoted on New Year but remained in their old posts until now. The government is now assigning them appropriate postings based on their rank. Rupinder Singh was appointed as ADG Jail; Bhupendra Sahu appointed as ADG Technical Services; Dr. BL Meena named as AGD Police Community Policing.
