Rajasthan government to use old tourism slogan ‘Padharo Marey Desh’

The Rajasthan tourism department will start reusing the same slogan and logo that the previous Congress government used to do for tourism-related promotional campaigns. Before the BJP government came to power, the slogan used to be 'Padharo Marey Desh'. It was changed to ‘Jaane Kya Dikh Jaaye’ during the Vasundhara Raje government.

Jaipur: The Rajasthan tourism department will start reusing the same slogan and logo that the previous Congress government used to do for tourism-related promotional campaigns. Before the BJP government came to power, the slogan used to be ‘Padharo Marey Desh’. It was changed to ‘Jaane Kya Dikh Jaaye’ during the Vasundhara Raje government.

The newly appointed tourism minister Vishvendra Singh inspected several hotels and tourism offices of RTDC on Friday. He announced that the current slogan of Rajasthan tourism – ‘Jaane Kya Dikh Jaaye’ – will be replaced with old slogan ‘Padharo Maarey Desh’.

The education minister instructed the officials to discontinue distributing saffron-colored bicycles to girl students. The government will also review textbook curriculum, schools’ timetable and school uniforms.

The newly appointed education minister Govind Singh Dotasara said on Friday that all the decisions and changes made during the BJP-led government will be reviewed.
