Project Expo ‘Prayogam-2024’ organized at Poornima University in Jaipur

More than 1200 students participated in the exhibition and over 220 projects were displayed.

Students showcasing their projects at Project Expo ‘Prayogam-2024’ organized at Poornima University in Jaipur.

JAIPUR: The Faculty of Computer Science & Engineering, Poornima University (PU), Jaipur organized the Annual Technical Project Expo “Prayogam-2024” on the occasion of National Science Day. 

The exhibition was intended to motivate students to apply the theoretical concepts in the form of projects. More than 1200 students participated in the exhibition and over 220 projects were displayed. Projects were focused on real world problems in the areas of AI, Data Science, Game Technology, IOT, Cyber Security, Web Technologies and Mobile applications.

Dr. Suresh Chandra Padhy, President, Poornima University, Dr. Manoj Gupta, Pro-President, Poornima University; Dr. Mukul Gupta, Managing Director, BM Infotrade Pvt Ltd.(Chief Guest); Dr. Sheenu Jhawar, President, TIE Rajasthan (Guest of Honor); Manish Gupta, Associate Vice President – Low Code, Damco Solutions (Guest of Honor) graced the inaugural function with other guests.

In the inaugural function, Dr. Suresh Chandra Padhy stressed upon the importance of continued support for research and development initiatives, recognizing them as essential for addressing societal challenges and advancing technological solutions.

Dr. Manoj Gupta highlighted the role of National Science Day in commemorating the achievements of Indian scientists and inspiring the next generation.

Dr. Gupta expressed admiration for the diverse array of projects showcased. He said that such exhibitions foster creativity and promote learning. 

Dr. Sheenu Jhawar, delivered a speech that celebrated the spirit of innovation and highlighted the transformative power of ideas. Manish Gupta emphasized the importance of embracing technology, particularly low-code solutions, as catalysts for democratizing access to innovation.

The project exhibition concluded judges annoucing the top three projects. Siddhant Pathak received the first prize for his project ‘WebgeniX’, while Aditya Narayan secured the second prize for his innovative creation ‘PYbuddy – Developing ChatBot’.

The guests also awarded a total of 15 projects. The exhibition concluded on a high note with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Devesh Bandil. He expressed gratitude to all participants and guests for their contributions to making the event a success.
