Jaipur: In the wake of a decrease in Covid-19 cases, the Rajasthan government has decided to reopen all private and government schools for students of classes up to 5 in the urban areas of the state. The orders will come into effect from February 16. The students will need to carry written consent from their parents or guardian to attend classes physically. The online classes will continue in the state.

The state home department issued an order in this regard on Sunday. The orders cancelled all the restrictions and orders related to Covid-19 issued in the past. As per the new orders, all the offices will need to put up information about how many people were fully vaccinated and how many have not been vaccinated. An action could be taken against those who don’t abide by these orders.

All the passengers arriving in Jaipur from abroad will need to have an RT-PCR conducted at the airport. The passengers who test positive would need to stay in home or institutional quarantine for seven days until their report comes negative.

The domestic travellers will need to carry the certificate of having fully vaccinated and also the report of an RT-PCR conducted not more than 72 hours before the arrival. Those who don’t carry an RT-PCR report will be screened at the airport and need to stay in home/institutional quarantine until their report comes negative.
