Poornima University to organize annual fest ‘Lakshya-2024’ in Jaipur from tomorrow

Many celebrities will perform in Poornima University's annual fest 'Lakshya-2024
JAIPUR: Poornima University’s annual fest ‘Lakshya-2024’ will feature performances from various celebrities.
Singer Amit Trivedi, Paradox, and DJ Shaan are among the artists who will give live performances during the event. The Celebrity Nights will take place from January 10 to 13 in Jaipur.
During a press conference held at Hotel Fern, university officials shared details about the fest. Co-founder Rahul Singhi announced that music band Space Chimps and DJ Shaan would perform on January 10. Benny Dayal will provide a musical performance on January 11. Bollywood music director and singer Amit Trivedi’s live performance is scheduled for January 12. The event will conclude with a performance by MTV Hustle fame hip-hop artist Paradox on January 13.
The theme of this year’s ‘Lakshya’ fest is ‘Harmony in Diversity’. President Dr. Suresh Chandra Padhy highlighted that the aim of organizing this event is to promote the all-round development of students through sports, cultural activities, knowledge-based events, and fun activities.
Avval Yadav, Chairperson of the University Student Council, emphasized that students play an integral role in preparing and organizing the festival. This decision by the university aims to enhance students’ skill development.
Dr. Rakesh Gupta, Dean of Student Welfare, revealed that various sports competitions including Carrom, Basketball Volleyball Box Cricket American Football Table Tennis Kho-Kho Kabaddi Football are being organized as part of ‘Lakshya’. Additionally, cultural activities such as Western Dance Artistic Mimicry Antakshari Poetry Fashion Show Drama Hip-Hop Battle Singing Group Dance are also taking place.
On Lakshya’s final day (January 13), there will be a dedicated youth fest called ‘Yougami Youth Fest 2.0’, which includes a live performance by Paradox. Students will have the opportunity to interact with renowned social media influencers like Devashish, Ritvi, Srishti Garg, and Neha Doodles. The fest will also provide a platform for new startups and feature a networking mixer and shopping carnival as additional attractions.
