Poornima University celebrates 10th convocation in Jaipur

Acharya Balkrishna, Chairman and MD, Patanjali Ayurveda was awarded the honorary degree during 10th convocation of Poonima University (PU), Jaipur.
JAIPUR: Poornima University (PU) held its 10th convocation, where 665 students received degrees. The event was graced by parents and featured Lt Gen Ajai Kumar Singh, GOC-in-Chief, Southern Command, as the chief guest. Acharya Balkrishna, Chairman of Patanjali Ayurveda, was honored with an honorary degree at the ceremony.
Lt Gen Ajai Kumar Singh emphasized the importance of reading, a positive outlook, gratitude, and continuous learning. He urged the youth to contribute to nation-building. Acharya Balkrishna discussed the impact of social media and digitalization, encouraging the use of these tools for progress. He inspired the students to overcome challenges and guide others.
The ceremony also included the awarding of gold, and silver medals, and cash prizes to high-achieving students. Hritika Agarwal (B.Tech), Muskan Agarwal (MCA), and Aman Agarwal (B. Arch) received prestigious gold medals for their academic excellence.
Shashikant Singhi, Chairperson of PU, wished the graduates a bright future and encouraged societal contributions through innovation. The welcome address was given by Dr. Suresh Chandra Padhy, President of PU, who also presented the university’s report. Registrar Dr. Chandni Kripalani delivered the vote of thanks.
Notably, industry representatives like Deo Shankar Tripathi (Aadhar Housing Finance Ltd), Sudhir Hoshing (IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd), Vijay Chaudhary (Unicharm India), and Ranjan Sarkar (Exide Industries Ltd) were honored at the event. They shared motivational messages with the students.
