Poornima Group shines in RTU QIV rankings: PCE, PIET secure top-3 spots

JAIPUR: The recent Quality Index Value (QIV) rankings by Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) placed both colleges from the Poornima Group among the top three out of 57 state engineering colleges.

Poornima College of Engineering (PCE) grabbed the second spot with a QIV of 901, while Poornima Institute of Engineering & Technology (PIET) claimed the third position with a QIV of 886.

These rankings are based on various factors such as job placements, NAAC and NBA accreditation, teacher qualifications, paper publishing, student-teacher ratio, timely graduation, infrastructure, and students’ results.

Rahul Singhi, Director of the Poornima Group, expressed his pride in these rankings, stating that they affirm the group’s excellence.

He highlighted unique aspects of the Poornima Group institutions, like the state’s only AICTE Idea Lab for fostering technological innovation among students and offering B.Tech courses in the regional language.

Their industry partnerships with notable entities like CII, YI, AIESEC, TCS, Microsoft, Celebal, Sincgrid, Robofi, GG Nations, and Synoriq, provide students with exposure to industry standards and work environment.

Singhi also pointed out the strong placement record of the group’s students in top MNCs, with the highest package reaching Rs 45 lakh per annum and an average package of Rs 5.45 lakh.

He mentioned that their quality education is evidenced by the inclusion of more than 75 students in the RTU merit list. Poornima Group’s culture of coding is reflected in their organization of national-level events like Hackathon and Technovation.

Student projects have received funding exceeding Rs 1.25 crore. RTU has also established a Centre of Excellence for AI and Big Data at the institution.
