Jaipur: The grand ‘Rajasthan Festival’ Closing Ceremony was a fitting finale to the past three days of cultural extravaganza. The closing ceremony was held at Janpath in Jaipur on Thursday, marking the celebration of Rajasthan Foundation Day.
The mega event showcased the true essence of Rajasthan – its bravehearts, mighty warriors, rich wildlife, colorful festivals and vibrant culture – while portraying the State’s future readiness.
The event saw an integration of technological elements like projection mapping on the striking facade of the state assembly building on Janpath; water projection and finally a laser integrated music performance.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was the Queen Mother of Bhutan Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck. Among the dignitaries present on the occasion were also Rajathan governor Kalyan Singh, chief minister Vasundhara Raje, and minister of state for tourism Krishnendra Kaur ‘Deepa’.
The evening ended with a spectacular fireworks show.
