Online tenant and servant verification in Jaipur: All you need to know

The Rajasthan Police have introduced many online services including tenant and servant verification. Also, an employee can get a character certificate online. The facility is offered under Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) project.

Jaipur: It is now possible for people to have their tenant or domestic help (servant) verified online with police. They can apply for verification of tenants or domestic help online by visiting Rajasthan police’s official website www.police.rajasthan.gov.in

The Rajasthan Police have introduced many online services including tenant and servant verification. Also, an employee can get a character certificate online. The facility is offered under Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) project.

The option is available on the citizen portal in the Rajasthan police’s website. The individual will have to fill in a simple form and upload a government authorized identity card. It could be Aadhaar card, driving license or PAN card.

After filling up the details, a unique reference number will be provided to the individual. By using it, they will be able to check the status of tenant or servant verification.

The police verification process will take anywhere from 7 to 20 days after the application form is submitted on the website. The time period will depend on the region. Individuals don’t have to visit police stations for tenant and servant verification.

Before hiring a servant, people can send their documents to the concerned police station for an online verification. Verification of tenants can be done from home and character certificate can also be verified online, said a senior police official.

Steps for the verification of Tenant online.

  • Visit the website police.rajasthan.gov.in
  • Go to the ‘Public information’ section on the homepage.
  • Click on ‘Verification form (Servant\Tenant)’
  • A webpage will open. It will ask you to choose between ‘Servant uploads or Tenant uploads’
  • For tenant verification, click on’ Tenant uploads’
  • Fill out all the details in the form including tenant details and landlord details.
  • You will have to upload a ‘Tenant’s photo and Tenant’s govt approved identity card.
  • Click ‘Save tenant details’
  • You can fill the verification form on mobile police application too.
  • A unique ID (Reference number) will be provided to you after filling the form successfully.
  • You will be able to check your verification status on the police website using that number.

Steps to check verification status of tenant online.

  • Visit the website police.rajasthan.gov.in
  • Go to the ‘Public information’ section on the homepage.
  • Click on Verification status (Servant\Tenant)
  • Click on ‘Tenant uploads’ on the webpage
  • Enter the ‘Reference number’, which was provided to you during registration in one dialog box.
  • Enter the Registered mobile number in another dialog box.
  • Click on ‘search’
  • Your Tenant Verification status will appear.
