Online application for constable recruitment from today

Jaipur: The candidates are now able to apply online for appearing in the constable recruitment exam in Rajasthan. The applications will be accepted online till December 3. The exam will be conducted for the recruitment of 4,588 posts of police constable, constable driver, constable band and constable in police telecom. The police administration is yet to announce the dates for the examination.

Vinita Thakur, Additional Director General, Recruitment and Promotion Board in PHQ said that candidates can apply online till December 3. The exam can be conducted in December this year or in January next year.

In the guidelines issued by the department, it has been stated that the process of online application will start from November 10. The applications can be submitted till December 3. They will accept online only. The offline applications will not be accepted in any form.

The examination fee has been fixed at Rs 500 for general category candidates, Rs 400 for OBC, MBC, SC, ST etc. and Rs 500 for SC/ST candidates of other states as well. Sixty-seven seats have been reserved for the sports quota. Candidates will be selected after a written exam, physical test and documents verification.

The minimum qualification for constable in district police is senior secondary. The minimum qualification for the post of constable in RAC and MBC Battalion (including band) is secondary. For police telecommunication, the candidate must have passed senior secondary in physics and maths streams. The candidates applying for the post of constable driver must have a driving license issued at least one year before.
