Now apply for a drug license online in Jaipur
More than 47,000 drug store owners to benefit from the facility.

Jaipur: In a major relief to retail drug store owners and wholesalers, the drug controller office in Rajasthan is going to make the process of applying for a drug license online in Jaipur and the rest of Rajasthan. The facility will be launched on September 17. Rajasthan will be the 18th state in the country to provide drug store owners and wholesale medicine suppliers this facility.
The facility will benefit nearly 47,000 retailers and wholesalers in the state.
Those who apply online will be provided a ticket number which they can use to know the status of their license application. The license will be prepared within a duration of 20 days.
Drug controller (first) Ajay Phatak said that the facility is currently available in many other states including Delhi, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
The documents required to be submitted with the application can be uploaded through e-mitra centers to the drug controller department’s website. Fees can also be paid online.
Officials and employees of the drug controller office are being imparted training to handle and process applications for drug license in Rajasthan online.
