New Year Celebrations: Here’s how to report accidents, seek police help in Jaipur

Jaipur: New Year celebrations are round the corner. The city police has advised people not to indulge in drunk driving or creating nuisance. They said the driving license of people found driving in an inebriated condition will be impounded.
If you want to report a crime, any incident or want to seek police help, the city police has launched helpline numbers. Here is how to report an incident to the police:

DCP traffic Rahul Prakash said that some traffic restrictions have been planned keeping in view the New Year events being planned at hotels, restaurants and shopping malls in the city.
“The traffic signals will be operational till 1 am at New Gate, Ramniwas Bagh Circle and other major junctions on December 31. The one-way traffic arrangement will be in place on roads leading to Gaurav Tower and some other popular hangout places in the city,” said the officer.
He said that the driving license of people caught driving under influence will be seized and strict action will be taken under the appropriate sections of the law.
