Jaipur: Rajasthan University has announced to reconduct BCom Part – 3 examinations from June 12. The university administration had issued admit cards for these examinations, but since the number of centers was reduced at the last moment, the students will have to download new admit cards from the university’s website.

Rajasthan university officials said that admit cards have been made available on the university’s website for reexam dates.

University officials said that earlier a total of 214 examination centers had been earmarked for 22,000 students in seven districts, but the number of centers have now been reduced.

“The number of students in 164 examination centers out of total 214 was less than 100, so we have revised the list of examination centers. Students will now be able to appear in examinations at centers closer to their homes. They won’t have to travel long distance,” said an official.

B.Com. Part – 3 examinations had been cancelled following the paper leak scandal which led to arrest of several professors and employees of the university’s secrecy cell.

Those arrested include an assistant professor of the Commerce College. He allegedly leaked papers. The racket was busted by the Rajasthan police’s special operations group (SOG).

Student unions have protested against the cancellation of papers.
