Men fire gun to scare off pedestrians near Mini Adda in Jaipur

Jaipur: Panic gripped Raja park area of Jaipur when unidentified men opened firing near Mini Adda restaurant in the wee hours of Wednesday. A man sitting on a chair on the roadside had a narrow escape. The shooters were in an SUV and apparently intoxicated. The incident was recorded by a CCTV installed nearby.
The shooters are yet to be identified. Police have launched a search for them on the basis of the CCTV footage.
The men came in a black Scorpio and opened firing to scare off people standing on the roadside. The bullet did not hit anyone, but a man had a narrow escape.
The men drove away before the police reached the spot.
According to the locals, the accused men were completely intoxicated and were abusing the locals. A forensic examination was conducted and the police are learnt to have recovered bullet casings from the spot.
Further investigation is going on.
