Last date for form submission for RJS exam 2018-19 extended to January 15
Several changes have been made in connection with the rules of RJS exam 2018 and 2019 recently. The age limit which was earlier between 23 and 35 years has been changed to between 21 and 40 years. One percent reservation to other backward classes (OBC and MBC) has also been provided.

Jaipur: The Rajasthan high court administration has extended the last date of Rajasthan judicial services (RJS) 2018 and 2019– examinations. A notice was issued by the high court administration on Thursday. The last date now is January 15. It was earlier January 5. The process of enrolment started from November 26.
Several changes have been made in connection with the rules of RJS exam 2018 and 2019 recently. The age limit which was earlier between 23 and 35 years has been changed to between 21 and 40 years. One percent reservation to other backward classes (OBC and MBC) has also been provided.
Due to some technical issues and court holidays, the administration couldn’t release the notice earlier.
The process of filling up the application form for RJS 2018 and 2019 started on November 26. The last day for the enrolment was January 5, 2019 and for the final fees’ submission, the last day was decided to be January 6, 2019. Now, the department has extended the last date for filling up the form to January 15. The last date for depositing fee is now January 16.
A total of 197 civil judges will be appointed this time. The recruitment will be done for both the years 2018 and 2019 designations. There are around 86 seats for 2018 and 111 seats for 2019.
The criteria to apply for the exams is that the candidate should hold a degree of Bachelor of Laws (Professional) from any university established by law in India and recognized as such under the Advocates Act, 1961.
The enrolment process is online and the candidates need to submit the required details in the application form.
