Jaipur: A group of minors from Mandalgarh town of Bhilwara district sent police and intelligence agencies into a tizzy by creating a social media group with the name of Lashkar-e-Taiba. They not only created the group, but also sent requests, asking people to join it.

The matter came to light when a Lucknow-based man received the request and altered the local police. When Lucknow police investigated the matter, they found that the group was created in Rajasthan. They forwarded the information to their counterparts here following which an investigation was launched.

Sources said that the police found the group was created by a minor and his friends. They also uploaded some objectionable content.

The police identified the minors and rounded them up. They were brought to the local police station for questioning.

It came up that they had created the group out of fun. After quizzing them for nearly five hours, the police released them. Police officials said that the minors didn’t have any connection with a terror group and they had not been asked to create this group. It was created just to beat boredom.
